Wildrock is committed to supporting young people who share Wildrock's mission to promote the joys of nature play.  Nature play is the gateway to scientific inquiry and a conservation ethic.  Internships are customized to allow for meaningful work that significantly contributes to Wildrock's programming.  Interns who have worked with Wildrock have:

  • Developed self-guided trails to promote understanding of the natural world and the value of nature connection.

  • Planned retreats for college students wanting to lead ecotherapy initiatives at their school.

Opportunities exist to support Wildrock in developing educational videos for the website, creating program materials, researching program effectiveness, gathering oral "play" histories of local residents, enhancing our social media work, and improving Wildrock's biodiversity with eco-restoration work.  We also need interns to work directly with children and families participating in our programs.
